The person buying it is offering two grand. My mom is sending it over from my hometown so I can deliver it to the guy. The guy said he's only going to buy it as long as I don't dump it and if I do there will be legal repercussions. Ill probbably keep a ROM on my computer so if he ever changes his mind.

First off, Thank you all for actually helping with this. But I have bad news. Someone's offering me a lot of money for the cartridge (if it turns out to be the real beta) but this is the issue. He's saying he will only buy it as long as it isn't dumped online (I presume so its an even bigger collectors item than it would be). Unless someone is willing to outbid him I will sell this to him. I'm sorry for anyone excited to get the rom. This may be a bit early for a update but this is likely the best offer I will get. Sorry for your time.

As I said last time, If you are a skeptical person don't read this. I don't want Karma I don't use this account for anything else but asking for help with this and occasionally replying to things and I promise I won't do anything different. If you havnt read my first thread go check it out and come back.

I contacted my mum and did some research and turns out my father (bless his soul) worked for Nickelodean and was involved with the production of Nick Arcade. I have faith this may actually be a early version of Sonic 1 but heres my issue.

My mum is sending the cartridge over but its going to take some time and during this time I have to make a decision. Should I dump the ROM online or sell it. I could really use the money but I'm sure a lot of people would enjoy (if it's real) the ROM for this game. Please reply below and don't say I should dump it just because you want it I'm having financial troubles as of recent and I want opinions on what you guys would do.

If you won't play a game because of a bug in a level you don't like, Don't play 2D Sonic. Simple as that. Sonic games can be challenging at first but move past that and there's a great game. The crushy block section in Sonic 2 pushed me to my limit when I got into Sonic but it was the zone after that when I realized I loved the game

I dont think it was a beta. I dont see how its possible I got ahold of something like that. Ill ask my mum if she remembers where I got it or if she still has it somewhere.

A LONG time ago I remember playing a copy a sonic game I had and all I remember is a few things. Having trouble and (eventually clipping into) a ball in GHZ and the game crashing after only around half way into the zone. I'm not sure what happened to it (its probbably somewhere in my old house) but ive never been able to find a copy. Was it some fake cartridge or remix or just some rom someone made? This was back around 1998-2000. I have very little recollection of the game and I'm just fairly interested in it now. If anyone knows about it or remembers playing it comment below or pm me.
